On 30th May 2019 Salus Fatigue Foundation was invited to Headway (the local charity that gives help and support to people affected by brain injury) in Rubery as part of their Brain Injury Awareness Week. Salus Team member Jane Loewy met several clients and staff and discussed how fatigue is a major factor in brain injuries.

Reflecting on a succesful visit, Jane commented:

‘It was very beneficial to hear the same issues arise with fatigue related conditions such as fibromyalgia as well as acquired brain injuries. It was good to listen and to share and to see that good humour and a positive approach transcends all. We looked at ways to improve our rest and relaxation opportunities and where Salus fits in with supporting people with fatigue related conditions.’

Jane was made very welcome by Jade and her team and hopes to continue to work with them in future.
