Salus Fatigue Foundation is a registered charity providing a unique lifeline for people and their families and friends affected by Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (CFS/ME)/Fibromyalgia and fatigue related conditions.
Our vision : is a world in which every person affected by Chronic Fatigue has access to positive support and the opportunity to participate in all aspects of life.
Funded by our own fundraising activities and grants from The Big Lottery Fund and Sutton Coldfield Charitable Trust, Salus aims to promote and protect the good health of people who live with chronic fatigue and related conditions, their families, friends and carers in particular but not exclusively through advice, support and health and wellbeing educational workshops.
We offer activities, workshops and support groups across Birmingham, Sutton Coldfield and Solihull. We are governed by a Board of Trustees appointed on the basis of their skills and experience. They bring a range of knowledge and understanding to follow and fulfill our objectives and outcomes.
Our Mission : Salus Fatigue Foundation helps to improve people's lives affected by Chronic Fatigue through taking positive steps together.
Salus’ services are provided by qualified health practitioners whose classes/activities meet with and are delivered under The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guidelines, a Department of Health sponsored body, whose aim is to develop quality standards to help prevent ill health and promote healthier lifestyles. Salus does not provide, advocate or promote the use of services that claim to provide a cure, or imply they provide medically approved relief, from symptoms experienced through CFS/ME.
