Superfoods are nutrient dense foods which contain high amounts
of antioxidants, polyphenols, vitamins, and minerals. Eating them may reduce the risk of chronic disease, and prolong life.
Just a few examples of Superfoods include such diverse nourishments as Avocadoes, Blueberries, Kale, Black Beans, Broccoli and oats.
Join Kate Johnson for a new four-part course starting on Tuesday 8th May 11am-1pm at the Salus Sanctuary looking at which foods are considered to be Superfoods, what health benefits they offer, and how to fit them into your diet.
