Chronic Fatigue Syndrome can come with a whole host of symptoms as well as the debilitating tiredness: headaches, pain, inability to concentrate, sensitivity to light or noise, IBS, anxiety, depression – to name but a few. Sometimes the combination can seem overwhelming, leading to an inability to make sensible choices in areas such as pacing and resting. Understanding the importance of managing pain and other symptoms can support you in making positive changes to improve your health.
At October’s Sutton Support Group we will be looking at coping strategies such as breathing exercises, meditation and yoga. We will also explore food and drink useful for pain relief. Most importantly of all we will consider how we can learn to nurture ourselves and treat ourselves with the kindness we deserve!
Our Support Groups are for people living with chronic fatigue and their friends, families and carers. No need to book – just turn up.
